Frequently Asked QuestionsRegistrationCan I transfer my registration to another person?
Registration substitutions may be made until the start of the Workshop. Please see the Cancellation Policy for more information.
As a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee, do I receive a complimentary registration?
Due to the 2010 budget constraints, the Workshop is unable to offer complimentary registrations to the Scientific Advisory Committee.
I need a Tax ID number to complete my registration. What do I do?
Please contact Tamara Muldoon via email at Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com to receive the 2010 IHW Foundation Tax ID number.
What time will registration open on Saturday, July 24?
Registration will open at 10:30 and remain open until 18:30 on Saturday, July 24 on the upper level of Kingsbury Hall.
Schedule and Session QuestionsAre there any scheduled sessions on Thursday?
No. All organized IHW events conclude Wednesday night with the banquet.
Is lunch provided on Saturday, July 24 for the satellite sessions?
Yes. The Workshop will provide box lunches for all those registered for satellite sessions.
Can I view the posters other than during the scheduled poster viewing sessions?
Yes. The posters will be displayed on the 4th and 6th floors of the Rice-Eccles Stadium and will be available for viewing from 08:00 – 21:00 Sunday – Tuesday.
When do I set-up and take-down my poster?
Poster set-up will take place on Saturday, July 24 from 08:00 – 17:00. Push pins to adhere your poster to the display board will be provided by the Workshop. Poster take-down immediately follows the final poster session on Tuesday, July 27.
Abstract QuestionsCan I name an alternative presenting author for my abstract?
Any changes to the presenting author of the abstract must be made NO LATER than Wednesday, May 19. After May 19, no requested changes will be reflected in the abstract book.
Can I make edits to my abstract even though the submission deadline has passed?
Edits and adjustments to the content of the abstract may not be made after the submission deadline. If an adjustment to the list of authors is needed, or if a typo is discovered, those changes may be made until May 19, 2010. Please email the abstract submission number, title and edit to Karly@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com.
When can I access the abstract book online?
The abstract book will be available for download on the Workshop website on Friday, July 23. The abstract book will be password protected. The password will be provided for all registered Workshop attendees via email prior to July 23.
Lodging OptionsCan I walk from the Marriott University Park to the Workshop Sessions?
The walk from the Marriott University Park to the Workshop sessions is not recommended as sidewalks are not always available.
Can I book a room at the University Guest House or the Heritage Commons Residence Hall for 2 nights?
No. On-campus accommodations, the University Guest House and the Heritage Commons Residence Hall, are only available in six night packages, with arrival on Friday, July 23 and departure on Thursday, July 29.
Travel SupportWhen will we find out about post-Workshop travel support?
The distribution of post-Workshop travel support depends on the success of the Workshop. Post-Workshop travel funds are not guaranteed, and therefore, a date for distribution cannot be provided.
