Priscilla Schaffer ReceptionThe "Celebration of Priscilla A Schaffer's Life and Legacy" will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 20:30 in conjunction with the IHW in Salt Lake City at Squatter's Pub. Please join us for a remembrance of her remarkable life followed by pizza, a cash bar and DJ in accordance with Priscilla's wishes for us. Her favorite tunes will be played, and it was her wish that we dance to celebrate her life. If you wish to attend the remembrance please plan to be present by 20:40 at which time the doors will be closed so that participants can enjoy a remembrance of her remarkable life and career without interruption. All are welcome to say a few words. At approximately 21:15 the doors will open again and food and beverages will be available to purchase. To defray the costs of this event and to support the Priscilla A Schaffer Lecture fund, donations starting at $30 for Faculty members and $15 for students and postdoctoral fellows will be accepted and greatly appreciated. If you have questions please contact Sandy Weller or Felicia Goodrum. A table will be available at Workshop registration on Saturday and Sunday to make a donation to attend the Tuesday night reception or to support the lecture fund.  |
