Climate
Reno at 4,400 feet (1,340 m) above sea level is located on the Truckee River east of the Sierra Nevada.

Average Temperatures for July:

  • High - 24.8 degrees Celsius / 95.7 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Low - 16.2 degrees Celsius, / 61.1 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Total Precipitation - .30 cm, / .12 inches
  • Humidity - low during summer months

Daily temperatures are mild, but the difference between the high and low can exceed 45 degrees. Sunshine is abundant throughout the year, with an annual average of 300 sunny days a year. Summer rain comes as brief thunderstorms in the middle and late afternoon.
