Room blocks for this conference have been reserved at the lodging facilities indicated below. Please reserve your room directly with the hotel or lodging facility of your choice, and specify the "International Herpesvirus Workshop" to ensure the special conference rates. The deadline for room reservations is June 26,2003, at which time rooms will be released to the general public. Web site addresses have been included below for additional information.

Rooms at the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace can be reserved "on line" but must include the Group/Convention Code under the Hilton's "SPECIAL ACCOUNTS" section. This information is not optional as indicated, and must be entered to receive the special conference rates. When reserving on line, please enter IHV as the Group/Convention Code.

CONFERENCE CENTERS:

Lowell Inn and Friedrick Inn are conference center guest house facilities. All rooms have private baths and all hotel amenities, including continental breakfast. The Lowell Inn, adjacent to the university campus, is located one block off the State Street pedestrian mall. It is equipped with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness center. The Friedrick Inn is located on the shores of Lake Mendota, adjacent to the university lakeshore hiking and biking path, approximately one and a half miles from the conference site. Nearby recreational facilities include the Natatorium and Nielsen Indoor Tennis Stadium.

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN DORMITORY HOUSING

In addition to hotel and conference inn lodging facilities, a block of rooms has been reserved in Witte Hall, a University of Wisconsin dormitory. Dormitory lodging is available only for Package Rates for the duration of the conference. These include breakfast and are as follows:

$226.50 per person for double occupancy
$326.50 per person for single occupancy

Dormitory reservations can be made directly on-line through this Web site between the dates of April 1, 2003 and July 1, 2003. University Housing does not confirm reservations until two or three weeks prior to events.
