NOTE: Speakers may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts. Also, please name your abstract documents with your last name included somewhere in the file name of the document. For example, Smith_abstract.doc would be a good naming schema.

Deadlines

10 April 2003 Deadline for Submission of Abstracts

Every effort will be made to inform authors if they have been accepted for an oral presentation by the end of May 2003.

Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts on topics relevant to the Workshop themes. Abstracts may be submitted for oral and poster presentation or poster presentation alone. The Scientific Program Committee will exercise its discretion in deciding whether a paper will be presented orally.

Format and Means of Submission

Authors wishing to present or provide a paper are required to submit an abstract for each proposed paper by Thursday 10 April 2003. Abstracts should consist of a maximum of 200 words. Authors are requested to submit their abstract via this website. A template is provided on the website that can be downloaded to your computer. Once you have completed your abstract using this template, re-enter the site and follow the instructions to submit the template via the Internet.

If electronic submission in not possible, please contact the Workshop Managers to obtain a copy of the template either via e-mail or post. Postal submissions are discouraged but will be accepted provided the abstract is saved on an IBM compatible /PC formatted floppy disk and the document is in Microsoft Word for Windows format. Postal submissions should be forwarded to the Workshop Managers, with a hard copy attached, to the address listed.

Please note only abstracts provided in the correct format will be considered for inclusion.

Requirements for Authors

When submitting your abstract please indicate clearly the main/presenting author using an underline, and provide full address and contact details of the main author. Abstracts are to be in Times New Roman size 12 font. Please include first and last name of the author(s) and their organization, city, state or country.

Workshop registration must accompany your abstract submission.

All authors submitting an abstract must register for the Workshop in order for their abstract to be accepted.

Acknowledgement of Receipt

Authors can expect to receive acknowledgement of receipt of their abstract within 72 hours for submissions received electronically via the website. Should you not receive acknowledgement within this time period, please contact the Workshop Managers and quote your reference number, received when you submitted your abstract.
